About Umbrae One

U1 (Umbrae One) is the native token of Umbrae, a DeFi trading and liquidity platform on Base. Total supply is fixed at 5,000,000 and sealed at the contract level: the ERC-20 has no mint, no burn, and no owner function, so the number cannot change. Locking U1 earns a share of real platform revenue. Umbrae takes 5% of the swap fees on its own pools, the other 95% stays with liquidity providers, and 5% of everything the platform earns is paid out to U1 holders who lock them. Payouts are pro-rata and capped at 100,000 U1 per holder, 2% of supply. Tokens locked beyond the cap earn nothing extra, so a holder with a million claims on the same 100,000 as a holder with exactly 100,000, and the reward pool distributes across the community instead of concentrating in whoever accumulated the most. Rewards are funded by trading volume, not inflation, and nothing is minted to pay them, because nothing can be. Supply is structured, not simply floated. A dedicated reserve contract holds 850,000 U1 with no withdrawal path of any kind, and its only permitted outbound operation is a deposit into the protocol's own liquidity pool, so that allocation can become market depth and nothing else. Umbrae runs its own venues: a constant-product DAMM and a bin-based DLMM, plus swap routing across Base. The DLMM and the on-chain keeper that re-centers positions are both Umbrae contracts, governed by the protocol's timelocks and source-verified on Basescan. Base today, with EVM expansion to follow.
